Megan began her sewing journey at the age of 14, quickly discovering a passion for creating unique garments. She pursued her interest in fashion academically, earning an Honours degree in Fashion from Heriot-Watt University. During her studies, Megan worked as a tailor, honing her skills and developing a keen eye for detail and craftsmanship. After graduating, Megan founded her own fashion brand, Little Peril Studio, in 2020.​

Lauris began sewing at the age of 16, honing her skills with guidance from her mother and online tutorials. At 18, she opened a vintage shop called Beco Boutique, where her business acumen flourished. In 2014, Lauris founded her own brand, Girl HQ, renowned for its unique pieces and fabrics. As a self-taught designer, Lauris has built a reputation for creativity, making her brand stand out since its inception.​​
